'Red Pearl' finds Nam Sang-ji, Cheon Hee-ju and Nam Seong-jin locked in a charged confrontation.
Episode 10 of KBS2's daily drama Red Pearl, airing tonight (11th) at 7:50 p.m. KST, centers on an injury to Baek Jin-joo (Nam Sang-ji). New stills show Baek Jun-gi (Nam Seong-jin) frantic with worry and Choi Yoo-na (Cheon Hee-ju) visibly on the verge of tears.
Earlier, Yoo-na's jealousy boiled over: she stole Jin-joo's design and submitted it to the Adele group's design competition. When Jin-joo defended her despite knowing the truth, Yoo-na's inferiority complex deepened. Park Tae-ho (Choi Jae-seong) has been plotting to use Yoo-na to take over Baek Jun-gi's company; caught in his scheme, Yoo-na tells him, "I'll do whatever you ask," turning up the tension.
The newly released stills show an injured Jin-joo, her forehead and ankle wounded and her expression bleak — a visual that immediately raises questions about what transpired. The presence of Yoo-na and Baek Jun-gi beside her feels discordant, prompting viewers to wonder why the three are together.
Another still captures Yoo-na with tears in her eyes, amplifying the mystery: the same woman who earlier displayed open hostility toward Jin-joo now appears repentant. Baek Jun-gi's anxious, protective gaze toward Jin-joo draws attention as well; he seems deeply unsettled after being with Yoo-na. The scene carries a heavy, brittle atmosphere — like walking on thin ice — suggesting meaningful shifts in these relationships are on the horizon.
